SERVICES
Friends of Phillis Wheatley High School serves students in two ways. Our partners, such as Operation Warm, the residential colleges at Rice University and various houses of worship, donate both new and gently used clothing and hygiene supplies, which we distribute at Friends of Phillis Wheatley High School. We also support the students' academic progress by organizing volunteers to tutor students for the STAAR exam. Tutors have volunteered from St. John's School, Rice University, and University of Houston, among others. We also offer enrichment activities, such as trips to museums.
